Tooting Our Horn
I love my job. I don't take for granted how my office, my co-workers and my broker owner, play a big part in that satisfaction. Like most everyone, I have worked in bad environments: where you feel like no one has your back (and in fact you are always looking over your shoulder), where the boss needs his (or her) ego stroked constantly (or you're going nowhere!) and; where the whole aura of the office feels like no one wants to be there (God forbid they have to help...Continue Reading...
Museum Day
Today is Museum Day! This means you can go to select museums Free of Charge. Just log on to smithsonianmag.com, choose a museum and then get the coupon. My favorite is the Gropius House in Lincoln, Ma. Hope to see you there! It's overcast and dreary...a perfect day for a museum. Continue Reading...
Order Pancakes, Help Kids on February 28th! It’s that time again! International House of Pancake's annual National Pancake Day fundraiser takes place Tuesday, Feb. 28 to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities. RE/MAX Associates, friends, and clients can participate by visiting an IHOP location in their area and ordering a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes in exchange for a tax-deductible donation to CMN Hospitals. Anyone want to go with me? My treat (hee hee). Through the IHOP website, you also can request a reminder wake-up phone call from...Continue Reading...

Stolen Fall, October winter…WT?
Three days after commenting on how wonderful Fall in New England is, the Boston area looked like this! A prime leaf peeping weekend lost! And Holloween was actually cancelled or postponed in many of the towns Between 2 Rivers. Happy Holloween???? Bah Humbug!Continue Reading...
Reasons to love living in Lexington, Concord…Between2Rivers!
As far as I am concerned, experiencing Fall in New England is one of the best things in life! The crisp, cool air, the leaves changing color, the store fronts overflowing with pumpkins and mums. Here are some sights and scenes from the wonderful things I enjoy every year living and working between 2 rivers. If you have any Fall favorite places or things you like to do, please share so I can try them too! Continue Reading...
A Stunning Site in Weston, MA
One of my favorite sites when you drive through Weston Center is the large Town Green. It is put to good use most of the year with an Easter Egg Hunt in the spring, a fantastic Concert series all summer long, a Pumpkin Festival in October (10/16) and sledding for the little ones during the long, snowy winters. Its bowl like shape and expansive lawn area, surrounded by trees and overlooked by the Town Hall and other historical buildings, is striking in itself...Continue Reading...
No Quarters, No Problem. Parking on Credit in Somerville, MA
I need to park at meters a lot in my line of work. I try to keep a dish of quarters in my car but inevitably, whenever I need one, the dish is often empty. When I find myself without change, I usually take my chances rather than running into a store to get change, figuring I will be back quickly and that I will beat the metermaid. When I return to a $50 ticket I wish I had made a bigger effort... But finally there is hope for those of us without change! The city...Continue Reading...

From Cambridge to Wayland, between 2 rivers, fresh organic produce and the opportunity to support our local farmers is plentiful. What could be better then fresh vegetables on a summer day or arts and crafts from local artisans? The Local Farmers Markets Between 2 Rivers Most of the markets include vendors that also sell fresh fish, breads, cheeses, meat, honey, eggs and jams.
