Summer Farmers Markets From Cambridge to Wayland
From Cambridge to Wayland, between 2 rivers, fresh organic produce and the opportunity to support our local farmers is plentiful. What could be better then fresh vegetables on a summer day or arts and crafts from local artisans?
The Local Farmers Markets Between 2 Rivers
Most of the markets include vendors that also sell fresh fish, breads, cheeses, meat, honey, eggs and jams. Some have local artisans selling their crafts and the Waltham farmers market even has a concert series.
In Cambridge you can find a different farmers market to cover every day of the week. The Wayland farmers market has vendors that allow you to preorder if you are pressed for time.
Arlington Farmers Market
The Arlington Farmers Market meets every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. from June 10 to Sept. 30, and from 2 to 6 p.m. October 7 – Oct 28 at the central parking lot (Russell Common Lot) at Mystic and Chestnut streets. Click for more info.
Belmont Farmers Market
Thursdays, 1:30 to 6:00 in the Belmont Center parking lot (Behind Macy’s). Fall hours start Sep. 8, 1:30 to 6:00 (instead of closing at 7:00). Click for more info.

Lexington Farmers Market
The Lexington Farmers’ Market is open every Tuesday (May 31 – October 25) from 2:00 – 6:30, at the corner of Woburn Street and Mass Ave in Lexington, MA. Click for more info.
Medford Farmers Market

Somerville, Davis Square, Farmers Market
Wednesdays from noon to 6PM. Corner of Day and Herbert Streets, behind Red Bones. (closes at 5 when daylight savings is over). Click for more info.
Somerville, Union Square, Farmers Market
Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. On the Union Square Plaza, Somerville, Massachusetts, where Prospect St, Washington St, and Somerville Ave meet. Market Opens June 4 and runs through November 19th. This is a small market, but the vendors who participate are some of the best! Click for more info.

The market is held every Saturday from 9:30 to 2:30 (June 11 through November 5) in the Sovereign Bank parking lot, the intersection of Main and Moody Streets, across from Waltham Common. Click for more info.
